Scam Alert: Strategy Solutions, Inc. Name Used in Fake Grant Scheme

It has come to our attention that our Strategy Solutions' name has been involved in a phone scam.  This scam is in no way connected to Strategy Solutions, Inc. or our affiliates.  The following information has been given to us and the FTC has been contacted.  The scam information listed below is only one example of a phone call you may have received.  Strategy Solutions will never ask for you credit card information over the phone.  If you have received a phone call with the following information, please take action and follow the steps listed below.  If you have any other questions or need any further assistance, please call Ann DiVecchio at (814) 480.8000.

"Have an Obama grant to give you; just need your credit card inforamtion to accept."

 

What to do if you Receive a Call:

  1. DO NOT give them any information, personal or business (credit card numbers)
  2. Get the Scammers name, phone number and any other information (like how much did they want to charge you and in what form)
  3. Get the caller’s name and number and if they lost money and if so, how much did they lose
  4. Tell the caller to either go to www.ftc.gov to file a complaint or call 877-382-4357.
  5. You call the FTC complaint line at 877-382-4357 to report it. The complaint number to reference is 69050848
